We know that charities like yours change people’s lives. We specialise in helping you to increase your impact by securing grant funding, developing a successful trust fundraising programme and answering strategic questions.

We have worked with around 100 charities who have benefited either from our strategic consulting or from our trust fundraising service, directly raising over £21 million in grant funding.

We have prepared over 1,000 funding applications, with an average success rate ranging between 35% and 40%. On statutory and lottery grants our average success rate is 48% overall, with 59% in the last 12 months. On average, the return on investment for charities benefitting from our trust fundraising services has been £17:1 i.e. for every £1 spent on our services, £17 in grant income has been received by our clients. For comparison, the Institute of Fundraising’s benchmarking research found an average of £9:1. 

We ask our clients for feedback on completion of our work and have received 100% positive responses on the quality of our work and the way we communicate with our clients, scored excellent by 81% and 84% respectively. 100% stated they would work with us again and over 90% would recommend us to others.

Our webinars on grantmaking trends and trust fundraising are attended by hundreds of fundraisers and charity leaders per event. Our training programmes have received 100% positive feedback, with an average rating of over 9 out of 10 for content, delivery and resources.

We have shared our knowledge and insights freely through our own webinars and in articles, events, conferences and podcasts for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, the European Fundraising Association, Civil Society Online, Fundraising Magazine, Charity Chat Podcast, Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO), Voluntary Organisations Network North East (VONNE) and Charities Management.

Alex is responsive, straight talking and clearly good at his job. I was relatively new to being a trustee when Alex first started and I was skeptical. However, everyone in the trust knew we had to be more proactive with our fund raising so we made a commitment to Alex for a year. He gave us a sensible plan of action that was financially doable and worked closely with our Project Director to identify the best possible sources of support before starting to research and make applications.
